Exciting times

I've been here for five weeks? LIKE, WHAT. Time flies. I haven't posted pictures yet so here's one, and there's more later :) This is my whole school! As you can see, they're a fun bunch. They're all so different but i love that we all complement each other and we learn from each other in different ways. I'm so thankful to be stuck with such a neat group, I feel really comfortable with them, they inspire and encourage me in my walk with God and with how I relate with people :D Since the last time I posted, we've learned/experienced SO MUCH. Firstly, there was the topic of Repentance and Forgiveness. Man, so intense. For the whole week of lecture I was just feeling the weight of all my sin, really wanting to gain total freedom. I also realised that I had to ask forgiveness from my parents for some things that I didn't even realise i held against them in my heart. This week was like some serious soul searching going on man. On Friday, all of us w...

First two weeks in YWAM Perth

I’ve been here in Perth for two weeks! Missing everyone, but I’ve been busy here too J the base her is great, with friendly people and good food. The dorm where I am staying holds 50 about ppl, so it is pretty hectic but fun too! The first week was more chill, getting to know one another through beach trips and movie nights. We have great staff as well as my fellow friends. There are 29 of us altogether, and we represent  11 differents nationalities. It’s really beautiful seeing so many different  nationalities here, talking about different  cultures and worshipping Jesus altogether with the same heart. On the first week the theme topic was ‘Hearing The Voice Of God’. I learned so much. Our speaker, Matty Taylor, made sure that the first thing we knew was that God wants to speak to each and everyone one of us. He told us to make sure we don’t compare with others concerning when and how God speaks, because He speaks to each of us all differently, depending on how would b...

This post might be a bit long.

It's 2014! What have I been up to? - Working in my parent's kindergarten - Taking Korean classes - My usual fangirling activities (basically watching videos of koreans) Working is really fun, I'm really attached to the kids. It's so great being able to hug little people freely and having cute kids play with your hair. Of course you have to overlook the vomit and them peeing on themselves. So my original plan was to work until mid feb, then go to Kansas City (where my brother is) for a missions course called YWAM. It's 3 months of learning, 3 months of loving and sharing God's love to people. I was really excited for this, buying all the warm clothes and what not. I was accepted by the organisation, and I was pretty much set to go. But then my Visa didn't go through. I woke up early in the morning to make sure I wont be late for my 'interview' (for a business visa to the US, this is needed). I had to surrender my phone and ipod. I went thro...

Graduation

Image
HEY GUYS. So i haven't updated in ages mages forever times infintiy and beyond. But I've graduated. This deserves a blog post at least. Graduation means a few things. 1. The end of my time in Arrows. Throughout these two years, I've made a bunch of close/good friends whom I'm really grateful for. Each and everyone one of them has left a mark on me, be it a big huge dent or just a small fingerprint. I'll definitely miss those in my class the most. The moments we had were just so precious. I'll feature some of those whom i think have left the biggest impression on my life. :Hannah. My first ever friend in class. She's constantly kept me amused. I've enjoyed all the chats and laughs I've had with her, i will really never forget you :) Hanging out at my place, your place..those were great times. I know I wasn't as close to you this year, but really thanks so much for the hugs and the help that you've given me :Paul Mae. She's al...

Life. bittersweet.

So, topical tests are over. Did okayish, except for english. Got a bit of a lecture about that today. I guess I kind of deserved it. I've been feeling quite down lately. Things in school, people in school and at home/church....meh. Anyway. My bro's Korean American friend, Ben came to stay over for a few days. The days he was here was pretty interesting. He made a song for my kitties and prayed for them while rolling them around hahahahh. I've been actually really encouraged and inspired by him. He has an amazing testimony, being a pastor's kid and becoming invovled in gangs and drug leading until God came and changed his life. He's so weird...in a good way. He'll suddenly just burst out in tongues and talking to Jesus to people in malls and stuff. When I come back from school, he'll be worshipping and playing guitar for hours in his room. He asked us to join him in prayer sometimes and man, his prayers were intense. I love the passion that he has for Jesus...

Or maybe my seeking skills are just great you know. So anyway it actually has helped and i've only touched my ipod twice in these two days. Pretty impressive if I must say so myself.
