me being a poser In 2 weeks I will be heading to Thailand! We've seen a lot of finances come in from various sources and it's exciting :D We're all in faith and expectant to see how God will provide for us. My team consist of Alana and Alee (our leaders), Marie-Anne, Jayda, Shadrach, Jen, Melanie and Janet. All the 4 Malaysians are in this team, without even any discussion beforehand! Semangat patriotisme hehe :P My team is pretty sweet, we all have different giftings and interests which will be great tools to reach to the people :)                                                              Team Thailand Kolkotta! We had the topic of Spiritual Authority. It was really good hearing the amazing stories of transformation and learning that we have the authority as long as God commands us to pray/do something. Then we had the topic of The Fear Of The Lord. Understanding God's attitude towards sin

Almost halfway.

The third month is approaching, which is the middle line. I'm constantly left in disbelief at how time cheats me.                                          Sunrise just outside the building I study in (ywam base) I've really been enjoying my time here. Every week there's so much to learn, not just from classes but also from the people around me. The topic of Relationships was pretty sweet, and so was our speaker for that topic. She has a ministry that reaches out to kids and youth in Thailand. I will be going to Thailand with 7 others for the 'outreach phase' of my time here, so it was great that she got to talk with us about the customs and culture of the people there; informing us of the 'okays' and 'not okays'. The week of 'Father Heart Of God' was so impactful. Our speaker, Dave, is someone I felt so comfortable with and able to share to without fear. It was on this week that I realised I have an issue with jealousy. Without really

I've been here for five weeks? LIKE, WHAT. Time flies. I haven't posted pictures yet so here's one, and there's more later :) This is my whole school! As you can see, they're a fun bunch. They're all so different but i love that we all complement each other and we learn from each other in different ways. I'm so thankful to be stuck with such a neat group, I feel really comfortable with them, they inspire and encourage me in my walk with God and with how I relate with people :D Since the last time I posted, we've learned/experienced SO MUCH. Firstly, there was the topic of Repentance and Forgiveness. Man, so intense. For the whole week of lecture I was just feeling the weight of all my sin, really wanting to gain total freedom. I also realised that I had to ask forgiveness from my parents for some things that I didn't even realise i held against them in my heart. This week was like some serious soul searching going on man. On Friday, all of us w

First two weeks in YWAM Perth

I’ve been here in Perth for two weeks! Missing everyone, but I’ve been busy here too J the base her is great, with friendly people and good food. The dorm where I am staying holds 50 about ppl, so it is pretty hectic but fun too! The first week was more chill, getting to know one another through beach trips and movie nights. We have great staff as well as my fellow friends. There are 29 of us altogether, and we represent  11 differents nationalities. It’s really beautiful seeing so many different  nationalities here, talking about different  cultures and worshipping Jesus altogether with the same heart. On the first week the theme topic was ‘Hearing The Voice Of God’. I learned so much. Our speaker, Matty Taylor, made sure that the first thing we knew was that God wants to speak to each and everyone one of us. He told us to make sure we don’t compare with others concerning when and how God speaks, because He speaks to each of us all differently, depending on how would be better be ab

This post might be a bit long.

It's 2014! What have I been up to? - Working in my parent's kindergarten - Taking Korean classes - My usual fangirling activities (basically watching videos of koreans) Working is really fun, I'm really attached to the kids. It's so great being able to hug little people freely and having cute kids play with your hair. Of course you have to overlook the vomit and them peeing on themselves. So my original plan was to work until mid feb, then go to Kansas City (where my brother is) for a missions course called YWAM. It's 3 months of learning, 3 months of loving and sharing God's love to people. I was really excited for this, buying all the warm clothes and what not. I was accepted by the organisation, and I was pretty much set to go. But then my Visa didn't go through. I woke up early in the morning to make sure I wont be late for my 'interview' (for a business visa to the US, this is needed). I had to surrender my phone and ipod. I went thro
